Plastic Dreams

March 29, 2013

I've already confessed my love for Melissa shoes with this blog post
So I'm very excited about this sneak peak of their newest collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld.
The model for the campaign is none other than the It Girl herself, Cara Delevingne.

Karl will design collections for the next four seasons with the brand.
Each collection will feature four different designs.

I think I spot an ice cream cone on that heel...

White Shoe Trend

March 27, 2013

So what's your take on the white hot shoe trend for Spring?
I'm on the fence about it.
On the one hand, I do love a good neutral sandal,
but I'm not sold on stark white shoes, especially in the form of a pump, no matter
how I look at them, I can't help but think of Smurfette from The Smurfs,
although she does look pretty cute.

Will you be adding a white shoe to your collection?

Feeling inspired with this pony art, it feels both masculine and soft...
I adore the piece with the two horses loving on each other.

Pajama Pants

March 18, 2013

I only own one pair of pajama pants that can be worn outside and these are it.
I found these on sale at Zara and loved them.
The fabric is luxurious and doesn't wrinkle even when I sit for long periods.
I also rediscovered this great vintage bag I found a  few years ago in a thrift store,
the strap is adjustable and goes from long to short,
it's really a great piece that I should use more often.

Melissa Shoes

March 14, 2013

So I have to share with you one of my favorite shoe designers; Melissa

Melissa is a Brazilian shoe designer that has worked with the likes of Jason Wu,
Vivienne Westwood and this Spring is partnering with Karl Lagerfield.

These shoes are beautifully designed and are eco friendly. Production is 100% efficient, so no excess waste is produced. Melissa shoes are sustainably crafted in Brazil from MELFLEX, a technologically engineered injected thermoplastic that easily molds to feet for the most comfortable fit possible. They are also hypoallergenic, water resistant and recyclable.
The jelly like material is designed to allow your feet to breathe, so your feet don't sweat or smell (and it truly works). The plastic is also infused with a subtle sweet flowery smell.

I'm wearing the Melissa Patchuli design in this post.

Wet Paint

March 10, 2013

As you can tell, I'm experiencing some serious spring fever... this really
wasn't weather appropriate, but I didn't care, my toes were happy to
kiss the sun, even if they were chilly.

Leather & Denim

March 6, 2013

I love photography, but my biggest challenge with blogging is the photography aspect; finding time to shoot photos during daylight hours. I work during the day and by the time I get home it's usually dark. I want to try to get up before going to the office to focus on photography, getting up earlier than I already do might be a challenge, but it's worth trying.

What is your biggest challenge with your blog?
